🎓 I didn't finish college, but I graduated this instead…

Your comfort zone will kill you, my friend.

When you challenge yourself a healthy (and reasonable) amount, you boost your sense of pride in your successes… plus you'll want to do, create, and achieve even more when you see what's possible once you believe in yourself a little.

I'm proud of growing my business and developing my unique skillset over the years by combining facets of marketing, design, and strategy. I am constantly expanding my toolbox by soaking up all the education I can from mentors I look up to and admire -- such as: Amy Porterfield, Jenna Kutcher, Jasmine Star, Susie Moore & many others.

Challenging myself and learning helps me to keep my priorities in order, gives me a sense of satisfaction, and inspires my sense of creativity.

Sooooo…

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen some posts where I've mentioned that I'm enrolled in a 12-week course, and have been working on building something new. I've been working my butt off, learning a lot, and getting through the materials so that I can create something truly awesome that is going to help you. It's one of the hardest things I've done.

(Keeping it real: I originally signed up for the course in 2021 but didn't complete it. Life happened, imposter syndrome swooped in, anxiety and ADHD and scarcity and client stress and a million other things interrupted my mindset and I fell back into my comfort zone of “Nah, nevermind, I'm too busy…” But over this past summer, I re-committed and went all in.)

So I think it's appropriate that it's National Entrepreneur's Month and that yesterday, this entrepreneur-who-never-wanted-to-be-an-entrepreneur 👋 celebrated National Entrepreneur's Day by graduating from that program (Amy Porterfield's Digital Course Academy).

>>> I can nervously/confidently tell you that my first digital course will be coming in early 2023.

HOLY SH*T 💩

Honestly, I am freaking out a little but mostly I'm just excited. And proud. Because I know I can do this. Though I know I'm probably gonna freak out some more along the way. But it's cool. We can do hard things!

So I am encouraging you, actually CHALLENGING you, to do some hard things. Whether it's taking a new course, finding new ways around a problem, teaching yourself a new platform or skill, finally dealing with that THING -- keep moving ahead, do not give up, and know that I'm here rooting you on!

Need a little extra support to get things done? I gotchu.

In our Virtual Study Halls (hosted on Zoom a few times a month), we work on those parts of our businesses we need to devote time to so we can keep killin' business goals! Join us to be with kindred spirits just like you, in a silent co-working Zoom sesh.

Mics off, cameras on (or off, if you insist), heads down.

PASSCODE IS ALWAYS: STUDYHALL

Happy National Entrepreneur Month, First name / my friend! No matter what you're working on right now, I guarantee you're not alone. In fact, I'm right there with you.

I didn't graduate college.

But I graduated Digital Course Academy.

And now I'm ready to open a whole new side to the business I never planned on having. I can't wait to tell you more about it as I go.

Remember: Outside your comfort zone is often where the magic happens.

PS: See you in study hall, I hope? Sessions coming up on Nov 17th & 30th. Scroll up for the Zoom links.
